MISSION AND VISION
Mission Statement
“Gyankunj” is a term often used in India combines the Hindi words Gyan (Knowledge) and Kunj (Arbor, grove, or place), essentially meaning a “Place of Knowledge” or “Garden of Knowledge“
The school philosophy is to encourage the natural curiosity of young minds and inculcate a lifelong habit of “continuous learning” in every child. Learning, of course, is not to be restricted to the classrooms, but continues outside: on the play field, in gardens and just about everywhere.
The Gyankunj International School is, first and foremost, a family. Teachers enthusiastically support and guide students to become confident person and passionate learners with the core values of kindness, cooperation, and respect.
The inclusion of rigorous academics, co-curricular activities, critical thinking, creativity, and daily assignments enriches both mind and heart. In this way, students are empowered to be their best.
The School Mission is
“To nurture a global outlook by equipping each student to think critically and creatively with a good balance of knowledge, values and life skills which will help them to face the challenges of life with resilience and inculcate a sense of responsibility towards the needs of self and society in the 21st century”.

The Four Segments of the emblem represent different aspects of learning:
- The GLOBE signifies the global outlook necessary for the leaders of tomorrow.
- The BOOK stands for knowledge.
- The TORCH embodies hope and integrity that ignite the minds of young people and light their path towards brilliance and accomplishment.
- The psychology of the color yellow tells us that the color has traditionally been a symbol of joyfulness, happiness, and energy.
Philosophy
“Education should bring to light the ideal of the individual.”
We believe that every child is unique. Each one has a different pace of learning, which needs to be discovered by the school. Therefore, Lotus Valley International School strives to understand and fulfill the individual needs of its learners.
We tickle the imagination of our children so that they can think-out of-the-box and grasp concepts faster. We encourage them to explore, experience, experiment and find their own path of discovery. We provide them with a stimulating environment where love, affection and joy bring out the best in them.
We have an education system that builds the learners’ character and empowers them in all aspects – mental, physical, emotional and social.
