HOUSES

At GYANKUNJ INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, KHARGONE, the House System plays an important role in developing a strong sense of belonging, teamwork, and healthy competition among students. It encourages learners to participate actively in various academic, cultural, and sports activities while building leadership and cooperation skills.

The House System helps create a vibrant school culture where students learn the values of discipline, unity, responsibility, and mutual respect. Through this system, learners develop confidence and a sense of pride in representing their House in different events and competitions.

SCHOOL HOUSES

The school is divided into four Houses:

  • BLUE HOUSE

  • GREEN HOUSE

  • RED HOUSE

  • YELLOW HOUSE

Each House represents enthusiasm, unity, and a commitment to excellence.

HOUSE LEADERSHIP

Each House is guided by a House Warden and supported by a team of dedicated House Teachers who mentor and motivate students. Student leadership is encouraged through the appointment of a House Captain and House Vice-Captain, who help organize activities and lead their team members throughout the year.

INTER-HOUSE ACTIVITIES

Various inter-house competitions and activities are organized during the academic year to encourage participation and showcase student talent. These activities include:

  • Elocution and Speech Competitions

  • Quiz Contests

  • Rangoli Making

  • Presentation and PPT Competitions

  • Cultural Performances

  • Sports Events

Such activities help students enhance their communication skills, creativity, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

HOUSE CHAMPIONSHIP

At the end of the academic year, points earned through participation and performance in various competitions are evaluated. The House with the highest overall performance is awarded the title of “House Champion”, celebrating their dedication, teamwork, and achievements.

Through the House System, Gyankunj International School ensures that every learner gets opportunities to grow, participate, and develop their potential beyond the classroom.
